My mother allways said that: "if you want something awesome, you have to work for it". As a matter of fact this should be the new standard for all gamepads! But I never use them, because I have them programmed to those four additional buttons. Did you know that four buttons to the right of Raiju (trangle, square, etc) sound as if they were mechanical buttons? They do. More comfortable that any other gamepad there is. I actually sometimes hold it just to feel that. When you hold Raiju in your hands you just know that it won't fail you and that you are holding a real work of engineering art. There is a difference that you just feel. Do I use my ds4? Not at all!įirst of all - build quality. And I bought the new ds4, bu only because Razer Customer Service took quite a lot of time to respond about the length of warranty in EU.Īfterwards I bought Razer Raiju and I've been using it for several months now. One of it's triggers stoped responding so I began looking for a replacement. But why would you buy it, if you can actually buy 3 new ds4 controllers for the same price? First of all I do have the new ds4 and I had the previous ds4. It seems that out of all the best gamepads, Raiju is the only viable pick. The warranty is for 2 years in EU (I checked that with customer support and EU law). Also from all user opinions it seems that Razer has great warranty and will repair or replace your gamepad preetty fast. My research has revealed that this ones triggers can brake. Razer Raiju - if you think that I'm going to go lightly on this one, then you are mistaken. There are other issues like: the possibility of vibration mechanism failing and crackling, sound distortions and thumbsticks falling off.
Nacon Revoluton Pro - lets cut to the chase: thumbsticks work horribly. When I saw all those YouTube videos about button failures I felt like I dodged a bullet. There are other issues like breaking sticks, etc.
Furthermore the build quality is more of a marketing rambling rather than truth.
XBOX Elite - back buttons crack and fail with even some moderate use. Here are the results, the problems that users had with every single controller I have listed here: Why? Because it doesn't matter what kind of features they have if they have faults that prohibit you from using them. I'm not going to describe either one of them. The main competition for Raiju are Nacon Revolution and XBOX Elite. However if you are looking for a gamepad for your PC, or just want to know more about Raiju, then keep on reading. There is the New Original DS4, Nacon Revolution and some other controllers that aren't even worth mentioning.
There is not much competition in this area. If you are looking for the best gamepad for PS4, then stop reading right now and just order Raiju. Money wasn't an issue but I'd be damned if I bought something overpriced. I'm a person who researches every purchase so it took me some time to choose the best gamepad for PC. I've bought Razer Raiju quite some time ago. I'm going to be honest with you - there will be some criticism here.
